  • 56-year-old salesman
  • Experienced joint pain before but never this bad
  • Wrist feels tight and swollen to him
  • A few years ago had a lot of trouble with a sore right knee for several weeks. It finally settled down when he took ibuprofen regularly.
  • His right shoulder has a nagging ache, which he thought was from playing squash. Otherwise he has been fine.
  • Takes ibuprofen 200 mg prn

Seronegative arthritis
