Examination reveals:

  • No clear-cut abnormality
  • Some difficulty in active abduction of the shoulders but there is a full range of motion
  • Otherwise examination of the locomotor system is normal.
  • In particular, there was no evidence of muscle wasting, weakness or tenderness
  • Nor was there joint swelling.
